Lay Chaplain
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and motivated individual to join our school community who can contribute towards our mission for all to ‘live life to the full’ (John 10:10). After our successful Catholic School Inspection (September 2023) which gave us a rating of Good under the new framework we are now looking for a Chaplain who will support the Academy as we build on all of the existing great work and set our ambitions towards Outstanding in all areas. At our vibrant and dynamic Academy, we focus on being respectful, aspirational and compassionate. Every member of staff plays an important role in promoting these values. The Academy is proud of its open, collaborative, supportive and forward-thinking culture and we are at an exciting point of our development. We seek a practising Catholic for the role of Lay Chaplain who is easy to approach and able to handle sensitive issues, with experience of leading faith related/spiritual and religious education activities.
Salary & Benefits
Grade G/H – Scale point 20-25 £28,371-£32,020, 35 hours per week, Full Time (52 weeks).
